Dr. Saradindu Samanta

Saradindu was a Postoctoral Researcher, specializing in γ spectroscopy and nuclear sturcture.

Dr. Samanta recieved his Ph.D. from UGC-DAE Consortium of Scientific Research , University of Calcutta, India in experimental nuclear physics. He was involved into the investigation of nuclear structure study in the vicinity of doubly magic 56Ni core with particular interest in 64Cu ( Phys. Rev. C 97, 014319 (2018)) and 61Ni (Phys. Rev. C 99, 014315 (2019)). During his Ph.D career he was actively involved in building and maintaining the large gamma detector array INGA (Indian National Gamma Array) and he was an active member of the DSP based data acquisition group as well.

Saradindu joined Racah Institute of Physics in June 2021 to investigate 23Al β+-decay.
